Dove Launches Skindulgence, Your Better-Than-Milk Routine

This posts is backdated been about about three weeks but nevertheless! I shall write my experience about it :)

Most women would love more time to themselves to indulge in pampering their skin and engaging in healthy activities to nurture their overall beauty and wellness. However, in a survey commissioned by Dove® Body Wash* amongst 108 women aged between 18-35 years, time and money are the biggest hurdles in pampering oneself on a regular basis.

Dove® Body Wash with NutriumMoisture™ launched the DoveSkindulgence campaign as a solution to encourage women to indulge and pamper themselves on a daily basis in less time and with less money…and all in the comfort of their own home.


 


This two Dove girls in white are promoting the new Dove body wash, which promotes hydration! The girl on the left is Zi Ting, I first met her during this event not knowing her name. But to my surprise I met again on Monday for work! Best part she remembers me! HI ZITING! ngahaha!

This is the event stage. Dove is promoting the three pillars of Skindulgence: (1) #EatRight, (2) #StayActive & (3) #BetterThanMilk. And bloggers were divided into three groups to try out each segment!

It's my turn now~

First, my arm is cleaned with water then dried with tissue to remove dirt from the surface.

After that, my hydration level is recorded.

It shows 36.1% before using any products.

Then my arm is washed with Dove's body wash as an experiment.

Rinse with water then thoroughly dried until no residue left~

TADAAAAH!! My skin hydration level is recorded again and it is now 56.1%, A WHOPPING 20% INCREASE!

So yes, it is proven that Dove body wash does increase hydration levels on your skin! Try it for yourself and feel the difference! :)


Then it was dinner taime~ We were served with really healthy choices of food :)

Women interested in joining the Dove® School of Skindulgence can log on to facebook.com/mydovebodywash to find out more. After taking the pledge on the Facebook app, contestants will over 21 days, challenge themselves to achieve the three main pillars of Skindulgence – pamper yourself, eat right, and stay active. They have to share at least one photograph daily via Instagram hash-tags, (#skindulgence #betterthanmilk #eatright #stayactive) with a minimum total of 21 photographs (7 photographs per pillar) in the 21 days of how they take care of themselves at home.


The challenge starts on 1 March 2014 and ends on 30 April 2014. For eight weeks, three winners will be selected each week based on their creativity on each activity and they will each win RM100 worth of Dove Body Wash hamper. The 10 grand prize winners will have the memorable experience of a 3 day/2 night island getaway to Krabi.

Need Water? Uber KL Teams Up with Fara Fauzana & Reshmonu To Deliver Drinking Water At No Cost

Today 20 March 2014 marks the start of Uber Kuala Lumpur's Water-On-Demand campaign. Uber KL, a private and luxury car service via smartphone application, strives to build brand awareness and also to create a buzz amongst the community by distributing two (2) bottles of 5.5 litres mineral water each to two hundred (200) households in Klang Valley for free. 

Teaming up with two local celebrities, Uber Kuala Lumpur delivered over 300 litres of drinking water to Pure Life Society, a charity NGO society located in 6th Mile Puchong respectively, all at no cost. Alan Jiang, Launcher of Uber KL said, “Uber Kuala Lumpur decided to collaborate with Fara Fauzana and Reshmonu, two multi-talented local celebrities by delivering over 300 litres of drinking water to Pure Life Society, a charity organization that houses over 90 children from various backgrounds and races.”

This program is open to anyone who resides in Klang Valley and consumers are simply required to make a request for the drinking mineral water through the Uber smartphones application. They only need to download the free Uber app for smartphones and sign-up. Using the Vehicle Picker ‘WATER’ as seen in the app, consumers within Klang Valley need to move the green pin displays on their smartphones to the location where they want the water to be delivered to. Request via our application must ONLY be made on FRIDAY - 21st of March 2014 between 10am to 6pm and if our water ninja cars are available, our Uber app users will be receiving a notification stating that 11 litres of drinking water will be delivered right at their doorsteps. However, due to the existing high demand and availability of stock, our initiative this time around is only limited to the first two hundred (200) households.

For those who are curious, Uber offers an alternative to consumers in getting around the city without the frustration of driving or waiting, by offering a premium transportation service with minimum waiting time and at reasonable cost. Consumers only need to download the application and select their desired pickup location when making a request and the Uber application will automatically assign the nearest available driver once the request pick-up button in the Smartphone application is confirmed. Uber aspires to build a new fabric for urban logistics that redefines the way people experience and get around a city, and aims to be the preferred choice for private car hire service amongst the urbanites.

Duriana presents... POP IN POP OUT Market Day & BBQ Party!

I'm shy to admit that this is my FIRST TIME EVER STEPPING INTO PALATE PALETTE since its establishment in Dec 2006 (heh)! Always been hearing about the quaint place but never really got the chance to visit!

So anyway, it was in early February (last month) it was so happened that an event was about to take place there. I immediately sprinted at the chance cos who knows when will the next event take place there again? lol.




For those who are curious, the organizer for this mini shopping / makan event is a company called Duriana. Duriana is a new Malaysian mobile marketplace app, available in both Malaysia and Singapore launched since Dec 2013. Unlike existing classified e-commerce systems such as Mudah and Lelong, Duriana positions itself as a social selling app, which merges functions of Instagram and eBay (how convenient!)
