Natta Cosme presents... Egyptian Magic Cream!

Hi readers!

Today I'mma be sharing some super cult magic cream that isn't widely available in Malaysia! It has gained various international celeb following especially in the US such as Madonna, Kate Hudson to The Oprah Magazine!

Egyptian Magic Cream!!!

I'm so thankful to be one of the lucky girls to be trying out Egyptian Magic Cream in Malaysia! Prior to this, I have heard of Egyptian Magic through BubzBeauty, Youtube Beauty Superstar -- among the few that I can relate to since she's Asian, therefore sharing the similar skin concerns with me!

Ever since I watched that video, I had been contemplating to purchase it through its official website - but was a bit the skeptical because the design of it passes off as a little very the iffy to me. It does not state the company manufacturing this, the face behind it, or anything legit.
ヽ( ̄д ̄;)ノ

So when I was contacted by Natta Cosme to do a review on their product - LO AND BEHOLD GOD HEARD MY INNER THOUGHTS AND DECIDED TO BLESS ME WITH THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TRY IT OUT!!!

What is Egyptian Magic Cream?

Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream "The People's Choice" has been on the market since August 1991 with a solid track record, a loyal word of mouth following, and twice the healing power for half the price of conventional skin creams.

Egyptian Magic Cream is an all-natural skin cream made from six of nature's most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients. It is made with the blessings and guidance of our ancestors and with the following pure ingredients: olive oil, bees wax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, bee propolis and Divine love.

The result is a luxurious cream with moisturizing and nourishing properties that are legendary among celebrities, the fashion industry, even doctors and hospitals. With that support, Egyptian Magic has grown exclusively through word-of-mouth to be one of the most popular and widely endorsed skin creams in the world.

Surveys show that about 35% of the clients using Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream "The People's Choice" had eczema and psoriasis. When they found that conventional skin creams could not solve their problems, these clients turned to natural health food stores and to their delight discovered Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream "The People's Choice."

From babies' bottoms to the faces of the top supermodels in the world, Egyptian Magic legitimately bears the words "All-Purpose". It can be used on your face, skin, hair, cuts, burns, bruises, rashes -- everywhere!

The Uses for Egyptian Magic Skin Cream
(taken from the official website - it documents stories of how their customers "discovered" its other many uses)

1. Skin Care Moisturizer & Beauty Cream

People often start using Egyptian Magic to solve a skin problem such as a rash or burn or scar, and then continue using it as a skin moisturizer and as an anti-wrinkle skin care cream. Using it twice a day does wonders for creating soft, smooth skin. And this, of course, is one of the key reasons Egyptian Magic is so popular among the fashion and movie industry as a beauty cream for face and skin care.

2. Healing Burns & Treating Cuts and Scrapes

Many people keep an extra jar of Egyptian Magic in their first aid kit exclusively as a treatment for burns, scrapes, skin irritations and the like. Since Egyptian Magic will stay fresh indefinitely, you can store it for an extended period of time without concern for it losing effectiveness.

3. Healing Scars

Many users have commented on Egyptian Magic's "magical" ability to heal scars. Although we don't recommended it for older scars, Egyptian Magic can indeed work wonders to heal relatively recent scars and skin discolorations. Egyptian Magic is popular among many plastic surgeons, who recommend it to their patients for accelerating the healing of plastic surgery scars.

4. Natural Hair Conditioner

For many people, one of the most delightful discoveries is how beneficial Egyptian Magic can be as a moisturizing hair conditioner - either on a regular basis or as a conditioning hot pack. Egyptian Magic's all-natural ingredients will restore luster to your hair and replenish its natural oils. Here is an article in People Magazine about how actor Carlos Barnard uses it for hair care, and here is a great testimonial from Lena of London about using Egyptian Magic to control the "frizzies."

5. Eczema & Psoriasis Relief

Egpytian Magic Cream has been natural alternatives to commercial moisturizing creams as a treatment for eczema and psoriasis. Though different in nature, both of these conditions can often be treated by the twice-daily application of a moisturizing cream, according to several authorities. All-natural Egyptian Magic is an ideal choice.

6. Skin Rash Cream

Egyptian Magic is reported to work well in treating all kinds of rashes, including allergic reactions to drugs, chemicals, environmental irritants and insect bites; skin irritants, such as nickel or other metals; heat rash, irritation from clothing, rashes during pregnancy, and so on.

Are there really only six ingredients?

Egyptian Magic is made of Honey, Beeswax, Olive Oil, Royal Jelly, Bee Pollen and Bee Propolis. Our unique process combines these six simple ingredients to create a moisturizing balm unlike any other. That’s it. No additives, preservatives, fragrances, chemicals or parabens.

Is Egyptian Magic organic?

We use the highest-quality, purest and most effective ingredients we can find in making Egyptian Magic. Some of the ingredients are labeled "organic" and some are truly organic even though it isn't on their label. However, we don't choose our ingredients because of their label. We have found that just because an ingredient has the label "organic" doesn't mean it is safe, healthy or unprocessed. Sadly, we have found some of the lowest-quality ingredients are nevertheless labeled "organic."

Is Egyptian Magic vegan?

No. Because we use bee products in the product, Egyptian Magic is not vegan.

Is Egyptian Magic non-comedogenic?

The comedogenicity of a product refers to the likelihood that it will cause acne. It is measured of a 0-5 scale. We have not tested the comedogenicity of the product, but many of our customers use it for treating acne and acne scarring, so it is safe to assume it is very low. As some background, the two principal ingredients are olive oil and beeswax. Olive oil is rated as a 2 on the scale of comedogenicity; beeswax falls between 0-2, depending upon several factors. All of the other ingredients are at 0.

Where is your product made?

Every jar of Egyptian Magic is hand crafted by our company in the United States.

Do you test on animals?

We do not, and never have, tested on animals. We are a proud PETA partner.

My Take on Egyptian Magic Cream

First look - it reminds me a hell lot like Vaseline!! Of course, Vaseline is way cheaper so I was thinking, if it looks AND smells like Vaseline, wouldn't Vaseline be a better cheaper option for almost the same intended use?? (Vaseline is known for it moisturizing properties too) Plus the website did not include the technology of how they made this cream, for all we know it could just be Vaseline in just another packaging with a super marked up price!!!!

(Yes I'm quite skeptical especially when the website looks like it couldn't afford a proper web designer, who knows?!?!!)

I did a quick Google search and found out that Vaseline's molucule size is larger therefore could not be absorbed onto the face. Egyptian Magic, on the other hand is specifically tailored as a face moisturizer, therefore it absorbs into the skin, especially the face, better.

With so many other uses that this magic cream claims, I decided to focus to use it as my face moisturizer, since it has many moisturizing properties and my face was leaning towards dry recently. How I use this cream is I take a small amount of it, rub it with both hands to melt its gel-like texture until it becomes like a thin layer of "oil" in my hands. Honestly, it does make me ponder whether I'm slapping on oil onto my face.

After about a week, I don't see much difference on my face, but a few pimples popped up instead fml

I don't blame the cream entirely because it just could be my hormones reacting to that time of the month.

I personally think it's an over-hyped product that well, doesn't come with a cheap price tag. It could be just me, that it doesn't do much good to my face, so I'm gonna give it a go on my super bleached dry fried hair instead.
