First Look @ Mediviron UOA

It was about two weeks ago I scheduled an appointment at Mediviron UOA for a simple aesthetic beauty procedure. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for natural beauty but this problem as been bugging me that no matter how much I seem to try to sleep early, put miracle eye serums, eye masks and so on, my EYE BAGS DO NOT SEEM TO GO AWAY.

My first appointment was pretty straightforward, I was getting counselling and having a chat about how to get rid of the annoying eye bags, since its been bugging me ever as long as I could remember!

There is a wall of fame as I entered the clinic. I spotted many familiar faces, especially local celebs and bloggers! To name a few, they are Caroline May Ling, Traclyn Yeoh, Chency, Simone Teh, Julie Woon and Goh Wee Ping!

This is the room where I received counselling and my upcoming dermal filler! >.<

This is the waiting area for guests to enjoy a hot cup of coffee!

This is the VIP waiting room, equipped with a big TV and comfy sofa, and plenty of magazines to kill the waiting time!

And during the first visit, my doctor gave me a complimentary LED Photolight therapy (worth RM100) to improve my face texture :)

This was the very machine used for the complimentary treatment.

Lutronic Healite II

If you have never heard of light therapy (also known as phototherapy or bright light therapy) before, it's a powerful LED machine that shines a bright light on the body and is proven to have beneficial bio-stimulation effects on the skin.

The special bright LED lights interact with the skin cells to help counteract the signs of ageing, reduce active acne by killing the P. bacteria, and smoothe and tone skin texture by stimulating collagen and elastin production.

These machines are usually only found in dermatologist and cosmetic clinics.

Benefits of LED Light Therapy
There are many benefits of using light therapy. The red LED light has wrinkle-reducing properties that can help to:
  1. Combat the signs of ageing
  2. Stimulate collagen and elastin production
  3. Improve skin texture and tone
  4. Eliminate fine lines and wrinkles
  5. Reduce inflammation
  6. Increase microcirculation
  7. Speed post-treatment recovery
The treatment only takes 20 minutes, and afterwards, you can resume your normal activities with no downtime.

There are also no side effects for this completely painless procedure, yet it produces very impressive results.

My doctor recommended me dermal fillers to resolve the problem. Doctor explained that my skin loses fat and collagen as I grow older. Hence, the skin appears to lose volume and elasticity. Therefore my eye bags are caused by hyaluronic acid break down. This procedure is not a major one, no knives or that sort. I can expect the fillers to last for about a year.

So.... that sums up for my first visit! Look out for my next post on my dermal fillers!
